The wonders of Budgies

Budgies are a beautiful species. They are fun to be around and have completely individual characters and will keep you entertained for hours! They are also very intelligent little creatures, that are easy to tame and train as long as the time is put in to them.

Another reason budgies are so popular, is their massively wide variety of colours and markings. This is what actually started off the Jackson Budgies- my fascination by the wide range of 'mutations' that can be combined to create beautiful birds.

 It took me a long time to track down information from talking to breeders, reading books, reading newspaper articles and of course other websites and have decided to try and put down all the information I have learnt in the hopes it may be of use to others who are just starting out.
